POLLY: As we approached the East entrance to Yellowstone we decided to take the Beartooth Highway. The late Charles Kuralt described this route as the most beautiful highway in the United States. We can’t argue with that. On the day that we navigated the Beartooth Pass (nearly 11,000 feet above sea level) we had bright sunshine, heavy fog, rain, sleet and snow. These weather conditions were completely normal for the date of our trip. We selected these photos (from the many that Martie took) to share with you.
